Mission Statement
The Bear Valley 4×4 Club is a family friendly Off-Roading non-profit organization. Our focus is to enjoy the outdoors while respecting our trail systems and to strive to protect the environment we enjoy. We pride ourselves in educating the public about responsible trail use and working hard to keep our trails open for all to use.
Who We Are
Organized in 2007 by Big Bear locals, the Bear Valley 4×4 Club welcomes all four-wheel drive off-road enthusiasts – novices and experienced drivers alike. The purpose of the club is to have fun exploring the great outdoors with friends and family.
Our club is environmentally conscious, social, and quick to help one another on the trail. Members take turns organizing and leading trips. Potluck meals and special events are supported by all.
Meetings
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at a location decided upon each month. Social hour is at 6:00 pm and our club business meeting begins promptly at 7:00 pm. You may bring food and drink with you to eat before or during the meeting, unless we are meeting at a restaurant.
Membership and Rules
To become a General Member, one must participate in four club events (outings, meetings, etc.) and be voted in by a majority of the club members. Annual dues are due upon voting in. Contact us for membership information.
Members are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect while engaged in club activities. Alcohol and controlled substances may not be consumed before or during drive time.
